6AM Development has agreed a deal with Transport for London to refurbish 20,000 sq ft of ancillary space at Ash Grove Bus Depot in Hackney. The building will be converted into B1 employment space.
The property has been vacant for over 20 years and requires significant capital expenditure on repair and upgrade. A new entrance with passenger lift will be created on Sheep Lane providing dedicated self-contained access independent from the bus depot which continues in full operation.

When our work is complete we will be returning 20,000 sq ft of employment accommodation to the market. It is 6AM’s intention that the space is leased to makers, producers, grafters and crafters. This space will go some way to replacing the vast amounts of light industrial accommodation that has been lost in Hackney due to residential development.
